WADE NOBLES

Dr. Wade Nobles, an experimental social psychologist, received his Ph.D. degree from Stanford University. He is a full-tenured professor of Black Studies at San Francisco State University and the Executive Director of the Institute for the Advanced Study of Black Family Life and Culture, Inc., the only independent think tank in the United States devoted to the growth and development of Black family life and culture.

He is the author of several books including: " African Philosophy - Assumptions and Paradigms " Understanding the Black Family "A guide for Scholarship and Research "Africanity and the Black Family - The development of a theoretical model " The Km Ebit Husia - Authoritative Utterances of exceptional insight for the Black Family " African Psychology - Toward its reclamation, Reascension and Revitalization " African American Families - Issues, Insights and Directions. Dr. Nobles has participated in numerous efforts to combat the educational crises plaguing African children and is committed to establishing systems devoted to the identification, explication and application of culturally consistent educational pedagogy and praxis relative to African American educational excellence. He is also a member of the National Association for Social and Behavioral Sciences and the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations (ASCAC).
