JULIA HARE
Dr. Julia Hare is an internationally recognized scholar, educator, communicator and author who resides in San Francisco, California and is married to the equally recognized scholar, educator, communicator and author Dr. Nathan Hare. They met at Langston University in Oklahoma.
She taught at the City College of San Francisco, Langston University, and the District of Columbia Teacher's College. As a visiting Professor, Dr. Hare has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, Stillman College, and Lane College.
The public accolades that she has enjoyed evidence her numerous talents. She is the recipient of numerous awards including the Outstanding Educator Award from the World Book Encyclopedia and the Junior Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to the awards in education, she is also proficient in music and commercial acting. Dr. Hare is the recipient of the National Abraham Lincoln Award in broadcasting while employed at the Golden Gate Broadcasters' KSFU Radio in San Francisco. Subsequently, she hosted a popular talk show at KGO.
